The Darien office of Halstead Property presented OPUS for Person-to-Person with a corporate donation for 2010. On March 23, some of the firm’s top executives, including Halstead President Diane M. Ramirez, provided the donation to Missy Radin, co-president of the Opus board.
“Halstead is a firm believer in giving back to the community, both financially and in volunteering. We are proud to donate to such a worthy, local cause like Opus for Person-to-Person. This non-profit does incredible work in Darien and the neighboring communities and it is an honor to be involved with such a reputable non-profit,” said Charlotte Felt, executive director of sales for the Darien and Rowayton offices of Halstead.
The purpose of Opus is to support Person-to-Person through fundraising efforts and public awareness. Person-to-Person is a volunteer driven, Darien-based community agency that, through a sharing of goods and talents, responds to local neighbors who lack basic human necessities or the resources to improve their lives.
As the first firm in New York to bring real estate sales out of office buildings and into retail storefronts, Halstead Property is one of the largest residential real estate brokerage firms in the metropolitan area.
